Since centuries, Aboriginal dot painting uses discrete patterns either in abstract work or to connect with the nature. I see here a beautiful analogy how abstraction and discrete mathematics can be so powerful tools to model our world.

Welcome in Discrete Mathematics - MATH1150. This course will be delivered through face-to-face classes (lectures and lectorials) and by accessing materials and resources here in Canvas. In this course you will:

acquire a basic background in selected topics in Discrete Mathematics used in all mathematics/statistics courses and most of STEM related courses;
give you a broad idea of other topics you will deepen later in the program and in particular help you choosing options in second and third year
improve your ability to communicate mathematical related topics and improve your problem solving skills
